Well, the last 24 hours have been interesting. Becca called me yesterday, very upset that all was not well with her boyfriend Chaz. We talked and to make a long story short, she asked if she could come back home. I must admit that I have been praying for this for many months, so ~ thank you, Jesus ~.
We still have a ways to go, but this is a major start and I'm thankful for it!
Some of the dispatchers and officers that I work with usually get together for breakfast on the last morning of our rotation when we get off. This morning Becca joined us and we had a nice breakfast together (along with 5 others). It was a little early for her (we get off at 6:00 AM) so I'm glad she made the effort to come eat with us. It was lots of fun.
She left breakfast this morning to go back to Chaz's house to get her stuff and that's where she is now. I'm headed to get some sleep - It's been 26 hours since I slept last and I'm beat.
Remember that I love you . . . . Jo
