You know how you hate something but can't live without it? Well that's how I feel about my computer right now. I consider myself a reasonably intelligent person and have a fairly good ability to figure out things in general.... but Internet Explorer kicked my you-know-what this weekend!!
Our internet went down last week and it seems like I have spent every waking moment (and on the days I worked, there weren't many of those) trying to connect back to the internet. I have had to pray harder for forgiveness over the last few days, as I said a few things to my computer that should never have come out of my mouth, but alas..... I am definitely human. Thank goodness that God is divine and has forgiven me.... and I know he has a sense of humor (LOL).
I was finally able to connect through a dial up connection and after a several hour download of a new internet explorer, I think I have the problem solved.... but I say this with some caution as I am always leary when I deal with technology. Most times I end up having to call my son or one of his friends to help fix an even greater problem that my fixes usually cause. Only time will tell.
Therefore - pray for me and my computer - as my next step is to boot the everloving thing out the front door and buy a new one (which I definitely cannot afford to do, not to mention the medical bills from the broken foot which I will surely hobble away with!).
